{"id":156,"date":"2023-07-27T10:08:14","date_gmt":"2023-07-27T09:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.uonair.pt\/?post_type=product&#038;p=156"},"modified":"2024-06-10T19:57:43","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T18:57:43","slug":"piloto-de-nivel-i","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/uonair.pt\/en\/loja\/paragliding\/courses\/piloto-de-nivel-i\/","title":{"rendered":"Level I Pilot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to national legislation, paragliding requires a specific license.<\/p>\n<p>The awarding of a paragliding pilot&#8217;s license is the responsibility of the Portuguese Free Flight Federation (FPVL), delegated by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) and the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ).<\/p>\n<p>The UonAir paragliding school is a member of the FPVL and its instructors are duly qualified and recognized by the FPVL and have extensive experience, both as pilots and instructors.<\/p>\n<p>As a student and as a pilot, you must have sports insurance. UonAir, in collaboration with the Portuguese Free Flight Federation, has a protocol with an insurance company that guarantees this requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Paragliding in Portugal is divided into two levels, but only level 1 is compulsory.(IPPI Card level 3) After completing the first level, the pilot is qualified to fly The second stage (level 2 pilot, IPPI Card level 5) is classified as further training and is not compulsory.
