S3 - Training, School and Tandem Flight

The S3 is a modern harness that can be used with or without airbag, designed for training pilots and tandem passengers. It is the third generation of its family.

Flight Characteristics

The S3 has dorsal adjustment for comfort during long flights. It includes an under-seat airbag for safety, which can be easily removed if necessary. In tandem use, it helps passenger operation during take-off, seating and landing, making it easier to stand up and leave the seat without discomfort.

Weight with traditional seat: 2.9 kg, 3.1 kg and 3.3 kg. Weight with composite seat: 2.7 kg, 2.9 kg and 3.1 kg. Maximum pilot weight: 120 kg. Certification: EN.

Materials

Since 1991, SOL has produced and followed the evolution of materials and products. Our experience leads us to choose materials carefully, ensuring excellent durability and a high level of safety. All SOL harnesses are manufactured in SOL's own factory.

• Fabrics: Cordura, high-tenacity nylon and ripstop, according to model.
• Buckles and hardware: ISR-KS Dural Leg Buckle, ISR-KS Dural V Buckle, Nautos/Holt or equivalent SOL-selected hardware.
• Webbing: premium high-tenacity polyester or polyamide, 1200/1600 kgf depending on model.
• Finishes: Neoprene BR, YKK zip and selected composite parts where applicable.
