Split 3 Tandem Harness

Following SOL Paragliders' philosophy of innovation, the third generation of the SOL Split Pilot & Passenger harnesses was created to offer a safer and more versatile solution for tandem pilots and passengers.

The Split 3 harnesses include an airbag combined with a back protector and separated leg support, making take-off and landing easier. Automatic leg and chest buckles increase safety for both pilot and passenger.

General Characteristics

• Improved protection for pilot and passenger, with tandem impact value below 20 G.
• PL/PTL buckle systems against involuntary opening, with no possibility of pressure opening.
• Wider adjustment range for weights and minimum/maximum heights.
• One size covers a broader range of pilots and passengers.

Technical Features

• Integrated instrument holder.
• Anatomical shoulder cut to avoid neck friction.
• Shoulder adjustment with tilting webbing.
• Fixed airbag and 10 cm back protector.
• Identification compartment and 15-litre baggage pocket.
• Chest strap and anatomical backrest with coupled foam layer.
• Seat can use board, EVA foam plate or Divinycell, all included.
• Reinforcement for better load distribution, leg adjustment and independent leg support.
• Lateral adjustment with safety strap.
• Adjustable quick T chest buckle from 38 cm to 55 cm.
• 16 kN quick leg buckles.
