The Cyclus 2 is designed for a broad range of pilots who want a lighter and more compact paraglider for travel and adventures around the world. Modern construction creates a low-volume wing with versatile use.
It suits a wide group of pilots, from talented beginners buying their second paraglider to experienced pilots who want to fly more calmly in more active weather. It is also aimed at pilots seeking good thermal and distance flights without giving up the passive safety of a classic B-class wing.
The Cyclus 2 carries characteristics from SOL's intermediate Atmus 3, already established as one of today's leading EN B wings. At 1.1 kg lighter than the Atmus 3, the Cyclus 2 stands out at take-off and offers lightness, stability, speed, glide and thermal climb, creating a comfortable package for flying in varied conditions.
The Cyclus 2 incorporates the latest technologies and solutions used in modern wings: more aerodynamic stabiliser, higher-performance profile, greater stability and increased aspect ratio for a significant performance gain.
Technologies include constant pressure, higher projected aspect ratio, cross rods, high-tech lines, hybrid materials, laser cutting, 3D shaping, eco-friendly design, Bow Tec arc, internal diagonals, load-distribution tapes, three risers, seamless stabiliser and mini ribs.
Available sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, L and XL. The wing has 55 cells in every size. Flat area ranges from 20.44 m² to 29.82 m² and projected area from 17.90 m² to 26.11 m². Flat aspect ratio is 5.38 and projected aspect ratio is 4.12 across all sizes.
The line set uses Liros Dyneema PPSLS, Cousin Vectran and Cousin Technora. Wing weight ranges from 3.7 kg to 5.4 kg. Take-off weight ranges are 55-70 kg, 65-80 kg, 75-90 kg, 85-100 kg, 95-110 kg and 105-125 kg. Certified LTF/EN B in the main certified sizes.
LTF/EN B flight reports, inspection certificates, certification labels and line measurements are available for sizes S, M, L and XL. Certification numbers: PG_1845.2021, PG_1800.2021, PG_1837.2021 and PG_1825.2021. A load test report is also available.
