Its aerodynamic profile offers excellent glide, speed and manoeuvrability. Thanks to the internal construction, forces are evenly distributed, providing effective damping of unwanted movements and improved performance.

Technical Data

The Free Spin is available in six sizes: 15, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24. It has 39 cells in every size. Flat area ranges from 17.01 m² to 26.51 m² and projected area from 14.87 m² to 23.18 m². Flat aspect ratio is 5.01 and projected aspect ratio is 3.80 across all sizes.

The line set uses Cousin Technora 2.1 mm and Liros PPSLS 1.05, 1.2 and 1.58 mm. Wing weight ranges from 3.5 kg to 5.3 kg. Take-off weight ranges are 55-70 kg, 65-82 kg, 80-95 kg, 90-105 kg, 100-115 kg and 110-130 kg.

Materials

SOL Paragliders has always been known for durable equipment. The Free Spin is built with an excellent combination of materials. Its WTX 40 g fabric, combined with Dyneema PPSLS lines, makes this paraglider one of the most durable currently available.

• Profiles: Pro-Nyl high-tenacity nylon ripstop, hard finish, 36 g/m².
• Maillons: Ansung Precision 15 mm, 800 kg.
• Risers: Polyester Venus 15 mm, 1,600 kg.
• Rods: Nylon Maxfio 2.5 mm.
• Pulleys: SOL nylon 12 mm and ISR 16 mm ball bearing.
