The Effect XT 2 is SOL's new performance reference for intermediate and advanced pilots. It was designed for pilots who want to take their flying potential to another level. Combining precision, speed and easy handling, this wing offers an excellent balance between control and performance, whether for long-distance flights or technical manoeuvres close to the ground.

Technologies

The Effect XT 2 paramotor wing incorporates SOL's latest technologies and solutions for paramotor wings, including a more aerodynamic stabiliser, a higher-performance reflex profile with greater stability, and a dual brake system that improves turning performance.

With every new product, SOL works to reduce environmental impact, whether through more sustainable materials and processes or by directing waste into new products and suitable reuse streams.

Technical Data

Available sizes: XS, S, M, L and XL, corresponding to sizes 15, 17, 19, 21 and 23. Each size has 58 cells. Flat area ranges from 15 m² to 23 m² and projected area from 13 m² to 19.9 m². Flat aspect ratio is 5.6 and projected aspect ratio is 4.2 across all sizes.

Line diameters use Liros PPSLS 1.05, 1.2 and 1.58 mm, Vectran 0.6, 0.9 and 1.0 mm, and Cousin Technora 2.1 mm. Wing weight ranges from 3.9 kg to 5.6 kg. Take-off weight ranges are XS 70-110 kg, S 80-125 kg, M 95-140 kg, L 105-155 kg and XL 115-170 kg. Certification is DGAC for all sizes.

Certification

Sizes 15, 17, 19, 21 and 23 are supported by load and strength testing.

Materials

SOL Paragliders has always been known for the quality and durability of its equipment, and the Effect XT 2 paramotor wing was built with an excellent combination of materials, making it one of the most durable wings currently available in its class.

The Effect XT 2 combines PPSLS lines, among the most modern and durable on the market, with Vectran lines, creating a package with durability, strength and stability.

• Top surface: WTX 40 g/m² Si+PU and WTX 29 g/m² Si+PU.
• Lines: Liros PPSLS, Vectran and Cousin Technora.
• Bottom surface: WTX 40 g/m² Si+PU and WTX 29 g/m² Si+PU.
• Maillons: Ansung Precision 20 mm BI, 800 kg.
• Profiles: Pro-Nyl high-tenacity hard-finish nylon, 36 g/m².
• Risers: Global fit 19 x 2.0 mm flat multi BI, 1,600 kg, and PHI 25 mm.
• Rods: Nylon Maxfio, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.5 mm.
• Pulleys: Allen 20 mm ball bearing.
