Paramotor Wing - Two-Line Technology

SpeedUp is SOL's paramotor wing, intended exclusively for paramotor use, for pilots who want high speed, low fuel consumption and stability through two-line technology. SOL has developed two-line paragliders since 2010, with several world-title and world-record projects, and now brings this technology to the paramotor market for the first time, reinforcing SOL's pioneering spirit, innovation and development.

Flight Characteristics

SOL is confident that experienced pilots flying high-performance wings, or pilots moving into this category, will find the SpeedUp to be one of the best options available on the market. It is important to note that it is DGAC certified in all six sizes, allowing pilots to choose the correct size rather than adapting to an unsuitable one.

Anyone who has flown the SpeedUp understands the level of performance on offer. SOL presents it as a product well above what is commonly available in the current market.

Highlights

The SpeedUp incorporates the latest technologies and solutions used in modern wings, including a more aerodynamic stabiliser, a higher-performance reflex profile with greater stability, and two-line technology that provides a significant performance gain.

Technical Data

Available sizes: 145-XXS, 160-XS, 175-S, 190-M, 205-L and 220-XL. The wing has 60 cells in every size. Flat area ranges from 14.5 m² to 22.0 m² and projected area from 12.6 m² to 19.1 m². Flat aspect ratio is 5.9 and projected aspect ratio is 4.5 across all sizes.

Line diameters use Liros Dyneema PPSLS 1.05 mm, Cousin 988 2.1 mm and Cousin Vectran from 0.6 to 2.2 mm. Wing weight ranges from 3.7 kg to 5.2 kg. Take-off weight ranges are 60-110 kg, 70-120 kg, 80-130 kg, 95-145 kg, 110-160 kg and 120-175 kg. Certification is DGAC for all sizes.

Speed-bar travel is 11 cm, the riser count is 2, and trimmer travel is 10 cm across all sizes.

Certification

Inspection certificates are available for sizes 145-XXS, 160-XS, 175-S, 190-M, 205-L and 220-XL. Certification numbers: 4041, 4042, 4043, 4044, 4045 and 4046. Load and strength test: CERTIF DGAC SPEEDUP.
