The SaveMax range is SOL's traditional emergency-parachute line for free flight, with models for different needs. Made from high-tenacity Nylon 6.6, a fabric specifically intended for parachute construction, all SaveMax models use a lowered apex design.
The fabric's low porosity, 0-3 cfm, follows F-111 standards. The lines are made from nylon with high elasticity to reduce opening shock. The riser has a strength rating of 1,800 kg.
All models are supplied with a fabric container treated with silicone impregnation, helping protect against humidity and making extraction from the harness reserve compartment easier.
The PDA version is the traditional lowered-apex reserve, used worldwide for more than 15 years with strong acceptance. The CD version adds a double-canopy system, improving flight stability and reducing inflation time. The double-canopy and lowered-apex system is one of the most modern reserve technologies, providing faster opening and a lower sink rate than traditional reserves.
