The TK-380 emergency system is a hand-thrown reserve parachute built specifically for paratrike paramotor flying. Its design provides significantly fast opening, while the internal and external containers reduce the likelihood of unintended deployment.
The materials used in its manufacture are selected with great care from among the best products available on the market. It is made from high-tenacity Nylon 6.6. The main lines are nylon, with high elasticity to minimise opening shock, and include a braking system that delays the opening impact.
The line connection points are sewn with high-tenacity nylon tapes. The riser has a strength rating of 2,400 kg. The TK-380 model uses a lowered apex design. It also includes a parachute-slider system that controls opening time, reducing impact and supporting the load during use. Correct positioning of this system is essential.
