Inspecting, checking and repairing wings
A workshop equipped with modern, high-precision instruments: porosimeter, laser measuring system, precision dynamometer, sewing machines, pressure press, and more.
A detailed and easy-to-read report for every periodic service and every full or partial inspection. Wing inspection history.
We carry out periodic inspections and repairs for several paraglider brands. The main aim of the inspection is to ensure that the paraglider and/or reserve parachute remain within the factory safety and performance characteristics. Repairs may be carried out by replacing lines, applying ripstop, or replacing fabric or cells. Depending on the manufacturer's recommendation, the first inspection may be required from the first year of use or every 100 flight hours.
Within the general inspection service offered by UonAir, several parameters are checked, such as:
- Equipment identification label.
- Wing trim check and adjustment (if required).
- Line measurement.
- Inspection of riser components (risers, pulleys, seams, quick links).
- Physical inspection of lines.
- Fabric porosity test.
- Fabric strength test.
- Visual inspection of the wing (intrados, extrados, seams, anchor points, mini ribs, rigid foils, internal profiles and diagonals).
- Line symmetry.
- Laser measurement of line lengths (1.5 mm tolerance).
- Line strength test.
- Profile trim calculation.
- Final safety verification.
- Equipment repair.
