Advanced training for thermal flying, cross-country (XC) and mountain progression. Requires your own equipment and a Level I pilot licence.
Thermal flying and cross-country (XC) are considered advanced training for pilots who want to progress in mountain flying. This stage is optional, but it requires a specific paragliding licence.
The awarding of a Level II paragliding licence is the responsibility of the Portuguese Free Flight Federation (FPVL), delegated by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC).
The UonAir paragliding school is part of the FPVL and its instructors are duly qualified and recognised by the federation. They bring extensive mountain-flying experience as both pilots and instructors, with courses delivered in Portugal and abroad.
UonAir - Paragliding School - provides all theoretical training. The equipment required for the Level II pilot course is the responsibility of the Level I pilot and must include a reserve parachute.
