Description
Free flight in thermal ascent and cross country (XC) is considered further training for those who want to do advanced mountain flying, and is not compulsory. Advanced paragliding flight involves obtaining a specific license.
The awarding of a level 2 paragliding pilot’s license is the responsibility of the Portuguese Free Flight Federation (FPVL), delegated by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC).
The UoAir paragliding school is a member of the FPVL and its instructors are duly qualified and recognized by the FPVL. They have extensive experience of mountain flying, both as pilots and instructors, with numerous courses given in various locations, both at home and abroad.
UonAir – Paragliding School – provides all the theoretical training. The equipment needed for the Level II pilot course is the responsibility of the Level I pilot and must include a reserve parachute.
